is it right you should not use titles such as Mr. Mrs. with first names? thankx.

Hi TinTin!

These titles are conventionally only used with surnames (or first names + surnames) in the UK.

Sometimes children can be called Master Tom or Miss Emma...but usually to denote affection/comedy/irony. They are not commonly used in modern English in the UK.

Welcome to the forums.

In speech they are not used with the given name.

In writing letters, you can use the form "Mr Tom Smith" or Mr T. Smith".
