Default what is the base of Grammar in English?

Dear,Teacher.
I'd like to ask you one main question that on teaching English Grammar at my class i really don't know how to teach the basic grammar of english here I studied English last 6 years ago and my children now want me to share my knowledge again so that I try to share but how to begin I don't know.So,Pls point me how to start.
