"in the end" "finally" "eventually"

Hi, Can anyone offer me a clear and simple guide as to the difference between the above three phrases please? and when I use them?

In the end - from Old English meaning 'the opposite side'

Finally - from Latin meaning 'to an end'

Evenutally - from Latin meaning 'ultimately'

Strikes me they mean about the same.
