Default extreme adjectives

I am doing a Celta assignment. My student wrote:
" All my family is very lovely".
It seems that the adjective chosen and very do not fit nicely together. Any suggestions as to what's wrong with the statement and what I can do to help her correct this in the future eg possible activities.

Agreed...perhaps not the first combination to spring to mind, but it's a very acceptable way of expressing the feeling
