Q3.Turn the following into direct and indirect speech. I would go with this one. or Change the speech of the following sentences.

2. I saw a shoal of herring swimming in the water.
3. A brood of chickens entered my house.
4. A hail of fire burnt the shop.
5. A stack of rags were on the table.
6.I bought a crate of fruits from the market yesterday.

"A rain of fire" - but this is an unusual concept - it implies that the fire was coming from outside the building. 5. A stack of rags were on the table. One stack = singular noun = singular verb 6.I bought a crate of fruits from the market yesterday. "crate of fruit" .
