Hi, I am a lecturer in English in Macedonia, but for some difficulties I need a native speaker to help me. For example, I have encountered the sentence: "The voice is input with microphone". Is it correct? To me, "The voice is input through microphone" sounds more logic, but who konws, English is not my mother tongue. Please tell me if you know.

"with a microphone" would make sense to me.

The voice is input for a microphone.

You would more correctly state:

The voice is input via the microphone.

However if you wanted to be technical, you would state:

The sound of the voice is input via the microphone.

or

The sound of the voice is converted from mechanical energy by the microphone into electrical energy, which is then input to the preamplifier.
