Default Vocabulary Correct Usage

Hi,

Immediately after an in-person discussion with a colleague in office, if one sends a doc attachment, is it necessary to write in detail the purpose of the mail? Will it be ok to stop with a phrase? If so, which is the correct phrase: "Here it goes..." or "Here you go..."?

Awaiting a speedy response.

Thanks
Mary

Hello Mary, welcome to Using English!

When I send an attachment, I usually put an accompanying note in the email, e.g.

Quote:

Dear Mary,

I've attached the file you requested.

Best wishes,
