ice-cream cornets Hi again,
Although it's freezing over here and definitely not the time to indulge in ice-cream, my students went for it hook line and sinker.
In their written exam, they made up a dialogue in which a girl ,about to buy an ice-cream cornet from the ice-cream man ,(elementary) isn't sure as to what flavour she should get.
Would she think "Which ice-cream? Which ice-cream?" or rather "What flavour should I get,...?"
And can they have the man suggest "Strawberry?" or would you have him say, "Would you like some...?"
Again, it would have to be current usage in B.E. because that's what I'm supposed to teach.
Thanks in advance. |
