With a capital M

Please,

Could "somebody with a capital M" mean something? Kind of idiom or the like? I've found it at the following paragraph referring to a mercenary soldier:

"Lewis is the group's mercenary with a capital M. For him, there is no great humanitarian impulse to help Karen or others. He even says, "I'm only here for an ex-wife and three kids." He wants nothing to do with the situation he finds himself in -- especially after his rescue plans go awry."

It's a way of emphasising that being a mercenary is what this person is about, his or her main purpose in life. You could do the same with any similar title - "He is a priest with a capital P", "He is an entrepreneur with a capital E", "She is a mother with a capital M".

It serves to emphasise how much of a mercenary he is; he has no feelings for what he is doing, and is only interested in the cash he makes. You can use the expression with anything; a footballer with a capital F would be a special player or one particularly devoted to the sport.
