I am studying " Upon Westminster Bridge" by William Wordsworth. I was wondering if these technical terms would be correct to describe the poem. I thought " this city" is metonymy and "dull would he be of soul" a synecdoche. do you agree with this and is there any other technical terms you could write about in this poem.
thankyou for your help

I don't see "dull would he be of soul" as synecdoche.
This City now doth like a garment wear
The beauty of the morning;
Simile
The river glideth at his own sweet will & the very houses seem asleep;
And all that mighty heart is lying still!
