    Default preposition

    Hi there,
    Can you proofread the sentences?

    1. He climbs out of window sill and lowers himself down to the gardent below using the bed sheet.
    2. Roger crawls through/ across the gardend in darkness.
    3. As he crawls through/across the water, he sees a woman in black on a motorbike.

    many thanks

    hi there,
Sorry, the sentence of the second sentence should be:

Using a straw to breathe, he swims under the water until he reaches the other side. As he crawls through/across /out of the water, he sees a woman in black on a motorbike.
