Default high powered and high power

I've been having trouble with the use of 'high powered' or 'high power'. In which circumstance should you use them.

For example,

I drive a high powered car.

or

I drive a high power car.

I can't figure this one out, or are both sentences correct. Thanks in advance.

what about

high power suction

or

high power / powered rocketry

which ones are correct or are the all correct. what's the rule on this one.
