    I would like to ask native speakers of English the following questions.

    Which is correct and why?

    I gave my brother as much help as possible.
    I gave my brother help as much as possible.

    No writer has been admired more than Shakespeare.
    No writer has been more admired than Shakespeare.

    I was spoken to by a foreign lady on the street.
    I was spoken to on the street by a foreing lady.

    These are correct:

    I gave my brother as much help as possible.

    No writer has been admired more than Shakespeare.
    No writer has been more admired than Shakespeare.

    I was spoken to by a foreign lady on the street.
    I was spoken to on the street by a foreign lady.

    Word order is critical only in your first case, where the structure is as...as.
