Default handwritten fromal letter

Where do I sign a handwritten formal letter? On the left side or in the middle

Hi Rose,

On the left and "handwritten" is how I was told to do it.

You should leave several clear lines at the end of your letter, print your name on the LEFT and then sign above your printed name.

If your letter is handwritten - not typed - then you normally place the ending and signature to the right of the page.
