What is the difference between "beyond" and "after" when relating to "time"?
ex:
I think the party will go beyond midnight
I think the party will go until after midnight

Which is the right sentence? Why?
Neither, in that they should read "I think the party will go on beyond midnight/will go on after midnight".
The first is looking at the progression of time, the second is looking at the status of the time.
