Default broken?

Does it sound funny if I say " the fantasy I had about is broken". Should I say the fantasy I had is disappeared, gone, or broken? Which is right?

Default Re: broken?

The fantasy I once had has disappeared.
The fantasy I had once has gone.

My fantasy is gone.
My fantasy has disappeared.

In the first two, the fantasy has disappeared at some time in the past. In the second two, the fantasy disappeared very recently.
