| It is usually advised that co-ordinating conjunctions should not be used to start a sentence, so "And" should be avoided - certainly in formal writing such as a school essay. I see no problems with using Because or With at the start of a sentence. |

| Almost all style manuals agree that you can start a sentence with because, with, and, and but. However, there are many uninformed "old-school" English teachers who object to these types of constructions without any valid reason for those objections. |

| Personally I think it is weak writing. Often these sentences can be combined with the previous sentence to make a more interesting compound sentence. |
