Default practice management

Could you explain the following expressions in bold in easy English?

1. He also writes on life planning, personal development, investing, and practice management for trade magazines, broker-dealer publications and the general public.

2. Through keynote presentations, the Quest for Excellence TM national coaching program, and the PEAK Academy TM, he teaches financial advisors his Tested in the Trenches TM ideas to help them develop their practices and enhance their quality of life.

In the above, does "keynote" refer to a software or a program like a powerpoint presentation, or just the main point in a piece of writing or speech? And what does TM refer to? Technical manual?

Thank you.

The management of practices [there is not enough context to say exactly what practices, but it could be a doctor's practice, or an advertising practice]

No, "keynote" means "the central concept/idea of something". TM= "trademark" - he has registered these phrases as his sole property within this field.

Thank you.
