Please help analyse the sentence pattern:

I forgot that I had to go to a meeting.

If you want to analyze the sentence grammatically, then I think the following could help:

I =subject
forgot=verb serving as predicate
that ...=that clause serving as object clause
I had to go to a meeting=that clause
within the clause:
I=subject
had to go=verb serving predicate
to a meeting=prepositional phrase.
