If someone gave me a gift days ago, and I want to thank them for that, what should I say?

Thank you for the gift you gave me.
Thank you for the gift from before.
Thank you for the previous gift.

Are these three sentences ok or awkward, especially for the last two?

Only the first sentence is correct. I'd suggest adding some more words to the sentence i.e. Thank you for the gift you gave me on my birthday etc.

I agree with dawoodusmani. However, it would probably be better to be more specific. Example:

Thank you for the nice sweater.
