I’m interested in becoming an accent reduction teacher working one-on-one with individuals who would like to improve their ability to communicate effectively in English.
Can you tell me what type of certification might be beneficial in supporting my legitimacy? Also, where might I take the required courses?
There doesn't seem to be a standard pattern to me; some have ESL and other teaching backgrounds, while others have worked in areas like speech therapy.
