    Hi, folks.

    Just have one more question.

" He always had some mighty fine wine."
Does 'had' mean drink or possess? How do you know?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi, Nefertiti!

"I never understood a single word he said but I helped him drink
his wine. He always had some mighty fine wine."

Jeremiah and his friend would drink wine together. The friend enjoyed being with Jeremiah because Jeremiah always had a supply of good tasting wine. So, to answer your question, Jeremiah possessed and drank the fine wine.

    Great song!

    Cheers,
