Beautiful is an adjective.
Beautifully is an adverb. We usually add the suffix
-ly to an adjective so as to make an adverb.
However, there are adjectives and adverbs that have the same form : fast, hard, etc.
He is a
fast driver - adjective [
fast modifies the noun
