Default save (on, for), spend (for, on)

Hi fellas.
can anyone clarify me on the difference between verbs with using a preposition:


spend on and spend for

and separately the difference between verbs:

save for and save on

Can you use an examples?

Perhaps you should try using these in sentences, so we see the context. Then it is easier for someone to explain the differences.
