| my english teacher says u can "take exercise" not "do exercise" but i say its "do" who is right??? |

| From a BrE perspective I'd would tend to agree with the teacher that "take" is more common. "Do" would still be ok. |

| Add an "s" to your "exercise" and both you and the teacher are right. He takes exercise, but he does exercises (like push-ups). |
