The word is 'sow' not 'saw', Mad-ox. In the first, it means 'plant seeds' and in the second 'sow' is the name of the female of some species such as pigs and bears.

Thank you for having enlighten my foggy brain. These sentences were in an exercise. Obviously, I solved them wrongly. Now I see my mistake. It is not saw but sow. In this case I understand the meaning of these two sentences.
