    Default common adjective

In the following sentence, does the adjective good apply to both player and writer ..

He is a good player and writer (he is a good player; he is a good writer)

Will the meaning change if this was modified as

He is a good player and a writer (he is a good player; he is a writer)

Also if in the following sentence does puncuation make a difference

He is a good player, writer and teacher ..

He is a good player and writer - he is good at both.

He is a good player and a writer - He is good at playing, and is also a writer [not necessarily good]

He is a good player, writer and teacher - he is good at all these.

    Thanks ..

Does the following sentence mean he is a good player and a writer due to the placement of comma

He is a good player, and writer (he is a good player and not neccessarily a good writer)

    Regards

The comma is irrelevant [and unnecessary]. It is the use of the article that indicates two separate statements about him. With the article, you indicate two different things; without the article both are qualified by the one adjective.
