Default idioms colours

I have an sentence to fill in with a colour, but I just can't think what it could be.
"His extra marital-affairs have been discussed at great length by the ___press."
The only word I can thik of which could go there, would be the gutter press, but according to the exercise it must be the name of a colour? Any ideas?

Ron's right, we say the 'yellow press', although it's getting rather old fashioned. The only person I know who uses it as a term is in her sixties.
We also say 'red-tops' for the British tabloid newspapers.
