Default issues

Hi,

could you please explain what the word "issues" means in the following sentence:

We intend to avoid negative consequences connected with taking up new issues by our marketing department that could negativelly influence deliveries to our active customers.

Thanks a lot!

Hanka

Default Re: issues

I think it might be clearer as "issues raised by our marketing..."; equally it may be some term relating to a form of information produced by the marketing department [[leaflets issued/brochures issued]]. It is a case of knowing if the company concerned uses its own jargon.
