    pls explain how to figure out tenses like past simple. present continuous, future continuous and especially the PERFECT continous and the like, thank u

    Oh, such a simple question. Such a difficult answer.

    All I can suggest is that you search the UsingEnglish.com website for grammar exercises and explanations. Sorry, but this is too big a subject for a forum post.
