'Fed up of' is an idiom. It means bored or angry of a bad situation or event that has gone on for too long or a topic that has been talked about too much.

'Be out of one’s depth’ is believed to be an idiom that means one not having the knowledge, experience or skills to deal with a particular situation or subject.

‘Hungry’ is an adjective in its usual meaning of not full, wanting/needing more food; having a strong wish/desire for something.

David was correct. The phrase is not "fed up of". This is a common misconception among many British people mainly because they sound similar. Lots of people do not understand this in the UK. Wherever you heard or saw the phrase fed up of it is incorrect so please be careful in the future not to use this.

Oxford dictionary says: Some people say ‘fed up of sth’ in informal British English, but this is not considered correct in standard English.
