Smile One more step, or you're a dead man.

(If you take) One more step, or you're a dead man.

Does the above sound right and make sense? Thanks.

Thanks, 2006.
I know it is backwards. But the context is different:

(I command you to take) One more step, or (if you don't follow my order) you're a dead man.

Then does it make sense?

Before you said 'If you take one more step, or you're a dead man.' That made no sense.

Then does it make sense?

'You better take one more step, otherwise your hand will call for it.'

Do you like my suggestion? If not, it won't hurt me. Anyway, thank you.
