I was reading a book for kids. The title is 'One duck stuck'.
But I can't understand some sentence.
The following is a part of the story.


Down by the marsh, by the sleepy, slimy marsh,
one duck gets stuck in the muck, down by the deep green marsh.
Help! Help! Who can help?
We can! We can! Two fish, tails going swish, swim to the duck.
Splish, Splish.
No luck.
The duck stays stuck deep in the muck down by the squish, fishy marsh.


What I can't understand are wrote in red.

"Down by" >> "down [there] {{by the marsh}}

Tails going swish - represents the movement of the fishes' tails moving from side to side. It is usually used to say something made a soft hissing noise as it moves - The horses swished their tails.

Splish - the sound of something splashing in shallow water (This is onomatopeia = a word that imitates the sound of something. A clock ticks; "meow" says the cat)

Are you sure the writer didn't say squishy fishy marsh?
