Default CONTRARY

WHEN I chat with my new friend online, I write in capital. SHE/HE SAY TO ME "Please write in small letter." I just think there is something wrong.
Could you tell me why and how to express her/his idea.

If you use CAPITALS, it means you are SHOUTING or SCREAMING! ; so, if you don't want to SHOUT or SCREAM, then you should use lower case letters--what your new friend calls "small letters". :D
