* What do the texts in bold mean?
1. Does " to put his chair outside the door" mean to disclose something secret?
2. And " Crown Witness" is prime or most important witness.

Teacher Re: Erdogan It sounds as if he is about to be removed from the discussions so that the others can talk freely about Turkish accession- there are probably periods when he can be present and others when only the members are there.
The pope is not just an ordinary witness- 'crown' is used to signify royal authority (Law Dictionary).
