    Default Run on?

I also have a strong sense of urgency to complete a task when given it, and an understanding that when I’m in a work place I’m there to work; not to waste the companies’ time.

Run on? I'm working on a resume and having sentences that are messed up doesn't look good.

    Default Re: Run on?

It's not a run-on sentence, but the semicolon is in the wrong place. Swap the semicolon and the comma and the sentence will read much better.
