The only use I can think of for "nothings" is when lovers murmur "sweet nothings" to each other, meaning they say things of no importance or consequence, just lovey-dovey talk.

"Nothing" means what it says-"no thing".
e.g. "What are you two talking about?"
"Nothing."
"What are you hiding?"
"Nothing."
And so on.
