lest or in case I wonder which I should use "just in case" or "lest" in the following sentence below..
Please tell me the differences between "in case" and "lest".
Q . I had to grab the iron rail at my side ( ) I should slip off and fall.

Re: lest or in case You could use either. There is little difference between the two in this context.
