I wonder if you can help me with the following sentences:

-Although/In spite of (?) some people say that pupils do better at single-sex schools, I still prefer co-educational schools
-You should reduce (?), you are driving too fast!
-When Ben Johnson tested positive for anabolic steroids, he was ripped of his medal and suspended for two years.
-They say that the most important part is to take part but all the players want to win (?) their opponents
-There are shots outside, I mustn’t (?) look through the window (in a war for example)
-I sometimes hear how she is crying in the corner
-Our son promised us/to us (?) to get better marks in the school
-Good luck to you
-Some people are sleeping underneath this floor
-Politicians comment that the economic situation will improve
-When she is 30, she will be living in Canada
-When she is 30, she will have travelled around the world.

In spite of the fact that some people say...

You should slow down. ("reduce your speed" would be correct, but too formal.)

He was stripped of his his medal.

Better: They say the most important thing is to take part, but every player wants to win.
You can beat an opponent (informal) or defeat an opponent (more formal), and you can win a game, but you can't "win" an opponent.
"Mustn't" sounds like an old woman talking. Better: I'd better not look out the window...

Better: I sometimes hear her crying...

Better: Our son promised to get better marks at school.
or
Our son promised us he'd get better marks at school
or Our son promised he'd get better marks at school.

Politicians predict...
Predict means to say what you think will happen in the future.
A comment is about what has already happened, or what is happening now.

The other sentences are perfect as they stand.
