Re "in one's sleep."
"One" is very formal or literary.
There's nothing wrong with "in one's sleep" but I don't think it's very useful. I had a hard time thinking of an example:
"It's possible to have a heart attack in one's sleep."
I grabbed all the blanket in my sleep.
He talks in his sleep.
