Mary calls John a space traveler.



If someone is called "a space traveler," is he somewhat like a space cadet? He is out of place most of the time, right? Thanks.

I don't think I've heard "space traveler" used in this way.
A space cadet is someone who is foolish, doesn't understand what's going on around him, is unrealistic, has impractical ideas.
