    Default Rip apart

    Is it correct to say?
Rip the answer sheet apart. (I mean to say tear it apart-separate the papers.)

Not really. Rip apart is rather too strong.

    Tear off the answer sheet.

If you rip something apart, you tear it into lots of small pieces, destroying it completely.
