I am not sure which is better to use "Do you" or "Did you"
in this sentence below. Please teach me about it.

<situation: One person is going to remodel his office.>

And an remodeller asks a question to him.>

" Ever consider adding a drawing room? "

In this case,

"(Do you) ever consider .....?" or

"(Did you) ever consider.....?" is correct?

You could also use "Have your ever considered adding a drawing room?"

or

Are you considering adding a drawing room?

or

Do consider adding a drawing room. (as a statement)


but

"Do you ever consider adding a drawing room?" is not right
