Hi,

Can skillful be synonym of talented in some cases?

I wasn't thinking about subjects at school; I was thinking about learning a trade or profession. I would say that generally "talent" is used more in relation to artistic endeavors while "skillful" is used more for physical/manual activities, but there is a lot of overlap.

Talent is what you were born with.
Skill is what you have learned.

But in fact the two words are often used interchangeably.
