    Default days of the week

    Hi!

    Can anyone help me with the abbreviations, please. What is right Tu or Tues for Tuesday? I 'confused 'cos I've found these two variants. It's also applicable to other days. thanx in advance

    In the UK the following are generally accepted abbreviations:

    Sat
    Sun
    Mon
    Tue
    Wed
    Thurs/Thur/Thu (I think but now I am confusing myself)
    Fri

    Except for Thursday all others are definitely accurate.

    Thurs. is the accepted norm, but the other forms are creeping in.
