Smile The northern country scored the best

Out of 141 nations, study found the world's greenest, most livable place is Finland. The northern country scored the best in such categories as air and water quality, crime levels, and income.

Could I replace the underlined parts with "got the best score" and "parts/classes/sorts" respectively? Thanks.

Got the best score- fine
Part/classes/sorts- these don't fit IMO. You could use 'areas'
