Default articles as a part of dpeech in modern english language

Hello!

I need to write a seminar paper about articles. The theme is "Articles as a part of speech in modern english language". My question is: Do I have to write about articles in general or to write about articles as central determiners of noun phrases, their generic and specific reference etc.?

Welcome to the forums.

I would have thought that this is for you to decide. What is the seminar about and are other people writing papers for it?
