Hi again, another question:
Is it correct to say:
"I'm crazy about travelling"
When I want to say that I love to travel so so much..
as far as I know, you can say it like this. I 'd also say I adore travelling or I love travelling
"I'm crazy about travelling"
Say it if you're some kind of combination teenager/mindless adult. AVOID if you are over 15 years of age!
I adore travelling
Fine, if you are female, and live in wealthy 1930's New York. Avoid!
I love travelling.
Yes
and
For more everyday use : I like/ I'm interested in travelling
I like the way you answered the question!:)
Hello,
Yes, you can say this and here are some more expressions to express what we like:
I am mad about + verb + ing
I am intersted in
I am fond of
I am keen on
Do you know other expressions?
I am mad about + verb + ing
Careful with this one. Someone else can say of you, "he's mad about football", but the person themselves wouldn't say, "I'm mad about..." unless a bit, what we call, 'affected'/overly-effusive, gushing. A native speaker would know the right casual tone to be able to get away with it.
Hello David and thank you.
