| Hello Nef, Without context, I would take it to mean "a route about which a number of significant anecdotes could be told"; or "a route which has played an important historical role". Which route is it, out of interest? Best wishes, MrP

| A historic route could be an actual route in history. The Oregon Trail is a historic route in the American west. It can also be a virtual path too. This can mean a series of actions that if followed will repeat success or failure just as they have done throughout history. You must give us context to tell you what this means. |

| Hi there. I saw a few signs read 'historic route' when I was driving on freeway. "A historic route could be an actual route in history." -- This is probably the right definition. Thanks. |

| This means that it was an important route sometime in history....the Oregon Trail is an example. It is like seeing a sign saying "historic site" meaning that something historic happened at that spot. |

(I wonder whether one is expected to drive more reverentially, on a historic route.) MrP
