    Question show/display/represent?

    Greetings
I often asked friends some impressive photo of avaition. So in this place, I should tell him what image in the photo. Then I alway used show.
You may laugh at me, the show was overruned in my sentences.
Which word could be used more accurately for replace the show?
How shall I say such meaning sterlingly?
    thanks in advance.

I am not quite sure what you are saying, but if you mean that you say "What is shown in this photograph?" or "This photograph shows ......", it is perfectly acceptable.

You can also say "This photograph is of [something]" or "This photograph depicts [something]".
